The nearest pub is a JD Wetherspoons (https://www.jdwetherspoon.com/pubs/all-pubs/england/staffordshire/the-old-swan-uttoxeter) in the town centre.

For those rainy days, there is a local indoor soft play with cafe (https://www.bigtopfuncentre.co.uk/) a short drive away.

Just in case you needed any recommendations:

Bear café (in town) is nice for hot drinks and brunch etc.
The White Hart (in town) is a nice restaurant for a meal, or early evening cocktails. There are lots of nice village pubs around, and a few other good restaurants in town too.
There is a cinema, ice rink, bowling & Papa John’s pizza at the retail complex (behind Tesco’s).
Bramshall Park is nice to walk around, and has a good kids play area.
Denstone farm shop and café is very nice. You can walk along the old railway trail from here too, or walk round JCB lake (nearby).
There is a nice walk up to the Weaver Hills from Daltons Dairy in Wootton, where they also have an honesty shop to buy ice cream.
There is a fresh milk dispenser hut on the B5017 between Draycott and Uttoxeter (Marchwood Farming). They have different flavoured milks each week too.
Church Farm tea rooms and children’s farm is a nice little trip out for kids.
Sudbury Hall National Trust place.
