Derbyshire DA are Up and Running again!

Dear members,

Further to receiving the latest Green paper (3.16v1) and Risk Assessment from the Camping and Caravanning Club, the committee of Derbyshire DA would like to inform you of some changes to adhere to on our future meets.

Meets will go ahead, with our first one on the 1st August at Osmaston Polo ground.
Booking will NOT be required at any of our meets but we ask that you ring the stewards before you leave to make sure they can accommodate you on that meet (phone number will be published on our Facebook page a couple of days before the meet starts). Please also check our Facebook page for updated information.

We now have a bank/credit card reader that will be up and running on our meets (signal dependant, if there is no signal then we ask at some point you obtain the right amount of cash and take to the steward), where possible please use this method to pay. If paying by cash, please have the following in a clear plastic wallet:

  1. the right amount of cash, NO CHANGE WILL BE GIVEN,
  2. membership no, name, vehicle reg, phone number for track and trace
  3. how many people in your unit camping (adults and children)
  4. the number of nights staying and paid for
  5. amount of money in the clear wallet

Please be patient if stewards also ask for this information when arriving on site.
On the site, the Elson and water point will be cornered off and only 1 person is allowed in that area at any time, strictly adults only please!

Please be aware that you will need to bring your own PPE, as we will not be able to provide that for all members. Derbyshire DA will provide full PPE to our stewards.
Please follow all signs/site rules visible on site.
Unfortunately there will be no day visitors allowed, no social aspects that we’re used to and although we are allowed to now camp we still need to follow and adhere to the social distancing guidelines.
A laminated copy of the green paper will be displayed at future meets for those who wish to read, if not it is widely available on social media.

Finally, Derbyshire DA would like to say a big thank you to our stewards for coming forward to steward our meets especially with things being different, with this in mind please be respectful to our stewards, they are doing this voluntarily and without them our meets would not be able to held!

Not adhering to any of these new guidelines, risks future meets being cancelled so please be sensible and respectful.
We look forward to seeing lots of members at our up and coming meets and please remember to stay home if you have any of the symptoms.

Kind regards,
Derbyshire DA
